This is a link for all Ham's that are participating in the Lake Placid IRONMAN event JULY 23, 2023. The map link will direct you to an overlay map of the Bike course for the event.

The map on initial view will be centered around the Lake George area of NY. You will need to drag the map to the Lake Placid area of NY to see the course.

The link will allow you to build just about any NVIS antenna there is.
If your EMCOMM team is not deploying this antenna locally you may want to hold an awareness class for the team members.

Image result for zumspot

Bought a Zumspot from HRO

I hope to document the install process using the Zumspot with my android phone and Verizon Hotspot.

Purchase date was 2.07.18
$119.95 Ham Radio Outlet.
Package included:
1. Zumspot board.
2. Raspberry Pi Zero W
3. Standoffs
4. 4gb microSD card with adapter pre-loaded with Pi-Star software
5. 40 pin header. Must be soldered to Raspberry PI W
6 SMA antenna

My intended use for the Zumspot is to provide Search and Rescue Teams and Ham Radio Event communication centers the ability to use multiple digital platforms in the field. The Zumspot connected to a repeater will greatly increase participation from offsite assets.
